Why did you join hackforums?

I joined back in 2013 after seeing it pop up on google when I was looking up something. Maybe it was SST or money making methods at the time.

After joining, I found so much useful information. Learned so many useful skills, and made me a better person.

How about you?

To sell stuff back then, now I just am a sports book fiend.

When I was a kid I was a member of a community that specialized in hacking a particular service. Through that community I met many users who became friends with me on instant messengers. We weren't obsessed with privacy a screenname was enough anonymity for most and some didn't even use that off-site. These people taught me the basics of pretty much the same things that this site covers coding, graphic design, web design, some hacking stuff but mostly specialized in niche tools. At some point life happened to me and I lost contact with all the people I liked so much and in recent years I have searched high and low for a community that helped me to recapture those feelings and this one is the closest I have ever gotten to that! I hope to find new friends to learn new skills and information from and advance my current ones. I also just want somewhere to hang out at people to talk with. I am very introverted and prefer to write to speaking I don't even use mic's in games or voice chats in discord.

I won’t be ashamed to say that I joined this forum at the beginning to take some content from it and post it in Facebook groups.

Feels good to be back. Looking to network and further my education here. This site has moved into some great things . Just existing for this long says what it does. well. pm me if anyones interested in random chats similar to the lines that go from here

Thats awesome! Lol. I have a paranormal Facebook group. I was going to start Ghost hunting but it never happened. I still managed to get over a thousand followers in like a month just creating content though before life happened to me again and I quit. The paranormal scene is a very popular niche with a low barrier to entry.

To learn more about hacking of course :)

hello,

i am new here and i joined because i was hoping i could find someone to help with a forum delete. lol. I didn't realize that a community like this was so big! its very exciting!!

I joined back in Oct 24, 2024.
And my reason was just to find a forum where I can just talk to like minded people,
also I just found that the community is very nice even tho there are some toxic people.
But I don't mind.

That's why :D

I joined via a friend who probably isn't on here anymore, but main reason I found out about hackforums was because I got hacked myself, some cheeky little weasel RATTED me and I was so amazed.

I just liked to learn and meet new people back then but became fascinated with malware development as a skid those days.

I have told the story in detail before. In short though I came in looking for videogame hacks. This was over a decade ago. Back then the videogame hacking section of this forum was very active

[KyO]

I believe i found it on reddit in 2020 when i was learning more about security and hacking

[Stoke]
