For me it’s always medical emergencies. Working at a large building with a lot of activity it’s inevitable.
Mostly heart attacks and stuff like that though.

Five years ago, when I was working the night shift at a hotel, I got a call from a room saying that the neighboring room sounded like someone was moving furniture and making noise. At first I didn’t pay much attention and sent security to tell them to be quiet. When he went, no one answered the door.
I then checked the hotel system to see who was staying there, and guess what no one was staying there.
I didn’t think much of it I thought maybe the guest was hallucinating or had heard something from outside because it's very close to the road.
The next day, new guests checked in and guess what, the exact same thing happened. They called me and told me about it, so I went with security and a master key to see for myself, and the room was empty and clean.
The next night it happened again. This went on almost every week, and the room was always empty and never had a reservation for some reason.

I was just telling a friend a hotel story the other night, just as creepy, but not exactly the same.

I have no idea. Till the end of summer season, the room was never booked.

the Crowdstrike release that caused computers to blue screen around the world.
that was a scary, and not fun day for me.
Once I saw a guy who kept staring at me the whole time; it was only for a day, and luckily, I never saw him again.
