I keep seeing more and more how people are using polymarket to make bets.
I haven't tried it yet, but it doesn't look like you can lose money that easily, or am i wrong?
Like you can choose some ridiculous bet you know most likely wont or will happen, and bet to win.
Or track an insider who bet $100k on some stupid shit and then you bet on that as well, but something small maybe $10-50.
Whats the actual catch with polymarket?
Gambling is trash.
Ergo, polymarket is trash.
"but bro I made 8million dollars on a 97 leg parlay for who would buy the most glitter for the united states military!"
No bro. Go invest and "bet" on yourself for anything other than literal gambling.
There is no "catch" with Polymarket. It's just like any other betting system, only this one is for practically anything.
It functions the exact same as say DraftKings would for example, or any other sportsbook.
bugga told me I'm a cutie
If you don't know how Polymarket works and how large whales can influence the market, it is "trash".
If you know how to actually use the platform well, it is far from trash.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I don't have an issue with it personally, but my god, is it a tool for laundering money lmao.
Everything has its place in an ecosystem.
I suppose after NFT's died the potentially for the next big wave in crypto might be Prediction Markets. I read about people using AI (Clawdbot/OpenClaw) to do thousands of trades a day to earn.
I've done some experimenting and imho, didn't like it.
I dont think it has a big catch, its interesting and all in all just gambling about everything in real life, the big difference, as some already said here is that BIG whales can influence certain things, which is illegal but done right, who would really notice and is able to prove that? But all in all just personal preference, I found it funny but wouldn`t invest money into this. ^^
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.
Never Deal Off-Site!
Polymarket doesn't work in Canada unfortunately or I would be betting lol.
