Anthropic (Claude Code) Backend Leak

It's not the AI source code but it is the interface.

Crazy leak, what can you do with this leak?

This is a repo of the code in Python which apparently can't be taken down by DMCA since it's not the original Typescript Anthropic code.

Interesting read.
I wonder how much shocking info would be uncovered about openAI or Gemini

That’s quite concerning. I believe the DevOps team should be held accountable for this oversight at that level, important issues shouldn’t be missed.
I really think the future of AI is going to be fully open source. I can't see a world where all this code is just kept secret forever. AI is so smart and they want us to code with it then why wouldn't everyone vibe code any paid paid features into a free version?

I'm sure we'll pay services for their power and latest models but their backends are likely going to be run on open source code.

The original leaked code can still be downloaded using Internet Archive. There are 2 snapshots available for 31st march :D.

What I dont understand is what this means now?
Whats the use case for anyone of you / us and why is it big? I mean sure its nice to see how they work, but what am I even looking at? an IDE?

Use case is building your own service.

but for that I would need a ton of hardware, ton of (v)ram and stuff like that, correct?

so its neat for any potential competition (especially outside of US copyright laws), but not really helpful for me as an API Customer?

We also learned quite a bit about the billing so for normal API user -> With small adjustments you could possibly make your invoice little smaller.
quien lo tiene mande mensaje privado o deje el link no github bloqueado
It was interesting reading the prompts though I'm pretty sure most people know about them already since they can just check the sent request. The code's the game changer though. I'm pretty sure a lot of open source IDEs will improve 'suddenly.'
