I want to get deeper into malware analysis from a defensive and research perspective. For those who built home labs, what setup worked best for you? Virtual machines, snapshots, fake internet simulation, network isolation, monitoring tools, Windows + Linux combo, etc. I’m especially interested in what is essential vs what is just nice to have when starting out.
