I've noticed Discord seems to be the centre of a lot of this kind of activity, and the platform does "some" stuff against them like taking down some servers but not until a lot of reports etc.

Haven't noticed this particular cult. But I have observed on Discord that there are people (pedos) who are trying to get into an online relationship with children. It's something to be mindful of, if you know any child who uses Discord. Take it as a caution

This is unfortunate. But yeah, that is how they work. These people know they are outside of normal, they try to infect and slide themselves into respectable groups (church) or hide themselves in self-contained spaces (discord) to do what they enjoy, having power over vulnerable people.
