Joost has been growing in popularity since being on Eurovision. He is the first person from Eurovision to ever perform at Coachella.

He is a very unique artist, not someone I think anyone would listen to unironically in a way, but nice seeing someone doing something different.

I caught the set on the livestream – the blend of that gritty Berlin swagger with the weird‑pop twists really threw the crowd for a loop, in a good way. The way he looped that distorted sax riff into the finale reminded me of early Yung Lean vibes, which is wild for a former Eurovision act. Anyone else notice the subtle nod to that 90 s rave sample in “Midnight Run”? It felt oddly nostalgic amidst all the desert heat.
