I'm curious from HF members if I started an official Mailing List / Newsletter (email) for things like Hot Threads or other information and the email was weekly would you be willing to be on the list? Or do you just ignore solicited emails?
And yes, would be fully opt-in.
I would opt-in, but it kinda also depends on the content.
Maybe some inspiration from the HF news threads?

Yes, could also have some HF News content.
I suppose I should call it a Newletter really.
Is this different from announcements? Like I got the ‘ HF Summer Kickoff Giveaway [$1500+ Prizes]’
🚀 Signature space for sale! PM me if you’re interested.
I would happily be added, If anything I think maybe even adding a section of the HF news would be a wise move but its your call honestly. Plus it also depends on how many members would be interested in getting a newsletter.
I like the sound of this idea I would be added, maybe post some teasers of the best content to X and other socials? Hopefully grab the attention of new users and get some new signups.
IMO I think it would be cool if the news team could push out alerts (to users that opt in for it).
For any "breaking news" or even just when weekly editions are released.
I am willing to be on the list. Also think it would be a good way to attract advertising.
I can add my email, but honestly, I don’t see a huge benefit in it… anyone who regularly visits the forum sees these threads every day anyway.
Limited offer
Signature space ... 1k bytes per week
I wouldn't opt for it. Unless they are something very important like site changes, features, etc.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I would opt in. I read every HF email that comes already like when events are happening.

What if it was just monthly? Like first week of each month with a summary of updates.
I’d opt in for sure. Sometimes, life gets in the way, and other things are priority. Catching up with a weekly/monthly newsletter is how I get most of my “news” anyways.
You could even have sell ad space to vendors if you wanted or as other stated, have top threads or “hot topics” included.
For privacy reasons I use an email specifically for HF.
I'd be very paranoid to link my real personal email to HF. If there was a way around this to maybe anonymously sign up where I didn't link my hf account with signing up for the newsletter I'd do it.
Nowadays? I'm just here for the nostalgia.
