Over many missions, astronauts have documented particles of light floating or zooming past the ship. They follow the ships and other energy sources, and in recent papers have even been documented as demonstrating "sentient behaviors", with distinct roles.

This is documented across many NASA missions... The important takeaway is that they are not moving relative to each other. If particles break off of our ships, they will either move at same speed as us, or with the angle & velocity for how they broke off of our ship. A swarm of plasma is different... They are following the ship, but able to change direction, reverse direction, or change their speed. That's now how our ships work - if we could do what plasma does, we'd be out of the solar system by now. The amazing part of plasma is that it demonstrates an ability to maneuver in space & our atmosphere, in a way that we are unable to. By all accounts, qualified scientists and astronauts have reported that in these swarms, there are always some that are able to zip in & out of view, faster than the ship itself, etc.
most likely talking about the plasma swarms that follow our ships when we go into space, because they are attracted to electricity & energy. Plasmoids have different behaviors, but can be categorized into a few basic roles or types. They move as a group a lot, but can move independently, and demonstrate complex responses to energy, with the ability to leave or enter the atmosphere, hover, or travel faster than our ships in orbit. Very well-documented, and one of the most plausible, natural answers for the Orbs phenomena. They could just be plasma, responding to energy uses, observing, and following.
I get it, it sounds crazy. I thought so too, but plasmoids are probably the 2nd most plausible answer for the UAP/orbs phenomenon and their behaviors have been tracked over many decades fairly consistently. It's not like there are little human minds in each plasma ball. It's kind of like how a fungus can grow efficiently, or other plants are connected and efficiently growing around their environment's constraints. Plasmoids demonstrate similar hive mind thinking, intelligent or efficient pathing, different roles while still often moving as a group. Whereas a gas bubble is just a gas bubble, we can view plasma as "smarter" because they respond to their environment, respond to our aircraft, energy uses, and more.

Quote:During the fourth crewed spaceflight and second orbital flight of Project Mercury, Mercury-Atlas 7 (MA-7), Aurora 7 pilot Scott Carpenter describes white particles in view that appear to move at “random” and “look exactly like snowflakes.” He describes these phenomena as reflective, and that some seemed to move faster than the Aurora 7 spacecraft.
