Detectives located the girl at a nearby hotel and took her into custody.
She has since been transported to Clark County Juvenile Hall and booked for 12 counts of wilful or malicious killing, maiming or torturing an animal and three counts of felony malicious destruction of private property valued at more than $5,000.
Police arrived to find that “three horses had been intentionally injured with a sharp object,” in South Las Vegas Boulevard according to a press release.
Although the injuries to the horses are not considered life-threatening, the horses will be unable to compete in the 2026 NBHA Professional's Choice Las Vegas Super Show at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center.

Damn how can you be so evil, there is something seriously wrong with people hurting animals.
I used to be in the Matrix and escaped, but reality was too scary, so now here I am...

It seems like someone may have paid her to do like a Tonya Harding thing on the best horses who are not going to die but now can't compete.

I know right? And how does someone figure out...yeah that 15 will be willing to do it if we ask her as opposed to anyone else. Wtf?
At first I just assumed she was some Antisocial Personality Disorder case, but no seems to be about money in the long run, and not something she decided to do on her own.
The Clark County DA has already stated that adult certification is being sought due to the “extreme cruelty” of the alleged conduct.

She still made the decision to do it. On the dark web, animal abuse where women get paid by sadists to record stomping on living animals is apparently prevalent, so she would likely fit that category, and do anything for the right amount.
Hope the horses recover. Unfortunately, in many cases horses who can no longer "serve" are put down.

The article said that the horses are expected to make a recovery but they now can't compete in the recent championships. 🏇🏻

This is genuinely messed up. whether she did it on her own or was paid or pressured, intentionally hurting animals is serious. If someone recruited her, that person is probably the bigger problem. hope the horses recover fully.

She was booked for:
12 counts of wilful/malicious kill, maim, or torture of an animal.
Those are apparently the statutory categories listed in Nevada’s animal‑cruelty and property‑destruction laws, and they are the same charges the District Attorney referenced when announcing that the case is being reviewed for adult‑court certification due to the severity of the alleged conduct. So, yeah she might get tried as a an adult after all.
