Favourite resources for learning network fundamentals

Looking to solidify my understanding of TCP/IP and routing before going deeper into security topics. Any book or course recommendations that helped things click for you? Appreciate any pointers.
Cisco offered some free seminars on basics a while back. CCNA is a certification that also covers these. You might want to check out NetworkChuck on YouTube, he covers all things networking and also has a playlist called free CCNA. Really cool way to explain things.

Don't forget to also look into the actual core docs (RFC's) for TCP/IP. Back in the day those were the only goto resources available for devs. lol

And, of course, don't be afraid to use AI for extra help and explanations.

I apologize for the multiple posts. My browser acted strangely and must have repeated the posts.

My apology to the staff, it was unintentional.
https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/free-c...ng-course/ and OccupytheWeb's Network Basics for Hackers are good, too.
