I want to ask whether it’s worth watching Berserk or not. I rarely watch anime — only Hayao Miyazaki’s works. I don’t even know which of his projects are bad. And I saw Berserk on social media — people were saying it’s a really cool anime. Is that true, or are they just overhyping it?

I highly recommend reading Berserk over watching the anime adaptations. The anime (1st season) is overhyped due to the shocking and incomplete ending. Also, going from Miyazaki films to Berserk, which is the polar opposite of those films, will be a dark turn from the uplifting and comforting themes of those movies. So, if you're looking for a more mature or darker theme with completed adaptations, I recommend these:

the manga is really nice and abit fucked up, you should read it

ITs worth it to read. But worth it to watch? Not so much outside of the OG version, and the the 3 movies that were on netflix. everything else is kind of slop and their art style is for crap.

I watched and liked it, a bit off from the main story of the manga but I am not a big fan of reading mangas, no matter what, berserk is a timeless classic i would recommend to read or watch! :)
