Hi, I've recently finished reading Lone Wolf and Cub by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, I'm planning on reading other historical Japanese manga, such as:

Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue (based on the novel Miyamoto Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa) (Action)
Blade of the Immortal by Hiroaki Samura (Action)
The Legend of Kamui by Sanpei Shirato (Action)

If anyone can recommend some good historical Japanese manga other than the above, it would be very much appreciated.

You may try this one "Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu" (drama).
It's different from the other ones you mentioned, but it shows an interesting part of the culture and history of Japan.
