Sorry for the HF people who sell those, but based on the sub activity, I believe we've all quietly agreed that money-making ebooks are no longer interesting or legit.

What's your take on that?

If it actually made money, the seller wouldn't be selling it. So since it doesn't make money, they make their money from selling an ebook instead.

Yeah, but especially before the AI era, sometimes it felt like an ebook just gathered valuable knowledge and nothing more. I mean I don't believe anyone actually fell for a "make 15k a month easy" scheme, but rather an "invest in this side hustle and make some extra cash" opportunity

Yep. I’ve seen a fare share of them. Some are good but most are a scam

I'm sure that some of them were useful, but the only one that I've ever bought was only a few dollars. It's still waiting to be read.

I don't really think they ever really made you $$ break even or close was considered a win.

Some will say they are still worth it but I have never really gotten anything after getting the paid ebooks like that.
They tend to get published for free within a week or two after for methods and ended up being a waste.

Saturation really is key there and the reason ebooks were private and sort of made sense when bought a few.
The problem is that greed exists and the ebook seller usually will rather sell and make $ from MORE and make it more saturated than to keep it limited to just a few for any exploits and things.

Absolutely, the saturation issue is crucial. When ebooks are made available for free shortly after release, it diminishes their value and potential profitability for the sellers. This strategy undermines the very purpose of creating and selling an ebook in the first place.
