Well for starters, you cannot even open up command prompt while the program is running, this is due to this silly little ping command in the code. If we can't open command prompt won't that pose a problem to getting an IP quickly? I'd suggest fixing that.

In the long run, this is a basic socket connection with what looks to be a ping added on top of it? Its not going to do anything.
