Im pretty sure enough people have to visit it or actually search it for it to be found or something I dont really know. But what I did was I submitted my Website which in your case your blog and then submit it to Google to be in there search engine and they accept all websites and it shouldn't take long. Ill find you the link hold on.

When you create a blog, it will ask you if you want it to appear on search engines for privacy purposes. Hope this helps.

Try to get some traffic, try ViewingNetwork, Paid Traffic etc.
Or make articles with a link to your site and mass submit.

to make your blog appear in google searches you need to submit it at http://google.com/addurl and after 24-48 hrs. when google will refresh its new submitted sites, you can see your site in the search.
