[Taiga]

I JUST finished Toradora! It took me about 3 days to finish, and my opinion about it is:

Ending was a cliffhanger in my opinion, since Taiga left Ryuji after kissing at night, then moving back home and eventually ran away from her apartment to transfer to another school. In the end, Taiga comes back A YEAR LATER during their high school graduation ceremony to surprise Ryuji in classroom 2-C and he finally says that he loves her. In my opinion, I was kind of so-so with the ending of Toradora, but Taiga had to deal with her own problems and she decided not to run away from her problems with her mother, but still loved Ryuji at the same time.

While watching the ending, I don't want to sound corny but it actually touched me, because Taiga has the courage to leave her lover behind for a whole year. Someone who has ALWAYS been with her. Cooking her food, shopping with her, eating dinners with her, waking her up, cleaning her apartment up cause Ryuji cares, and even saving her life on top of that. And Taiga stuck with her promise. She will love him with her head up high no matter what, because she doesn't want anyone else but Ryuji. That my friends, is true romance. /endcornyness


If anyone has read the manga, does it go past the anime's ending just like most mangas go? If so, let me know so I can get to downloading all the volumes of the manga since it's completed.

My re-watch rate of this is up there, maybe in 2 years or less I'd re-watch this series.

Gotta be one of my favourite animes.

I thought the ending wasn't the best they could of done. But it did it's job making me wanna watch it again. I must of watch this series around 4 times now. It was the year of the tiger this year, so ya' know.

But so far; It's cute, funny, and you can definitely feel the tension that the producers have Taiga feeling towards Ryuuji, and the almost 'air-head' like state of Ryuuji when it comes to it.

Through the psp game i have seen multiple endings and the 100% taiga ending :)

Manga stopped publishing where about (as far as i know)... episode 6-8 is.... i cant find any past that... but it was really good. but toradora was the first anime i watched other than bleach.. it was an interesting transition. but it was great.
