Hi, I'm --([-S7N-])-- and I'll be your helper for today.

I shall be analyzing your complete set of provided logs for any problems or possible infections present in your system. I ask for your patience as the analysis process can be long. If infections are found, I will present you the proper removal instructions for disinfecting your system. Throughout this process, I will be asking you to run scans and fixes, please read the thoroughly to remove the room for any error, as one mistake at a crucial step can cause a huge problem.
  1. The cleaning process is not instant. Logs can take some time to research, so please be patient with me. I know that you need your computer working as quickly as possible, and I will work hard to help see that happen.

  2. Please do not create any new thread on this matter as it will waste another volunteer's time.

  3. Please do not install any new software unless instructed by me, as it will hinder our process.

  4. If you have any hacking tools that may get removed during any of the scans, it is not my responsibility to bring them back.

  5. When following my instructions, you are to save your work and close other windows and only have the tool running so that it runs unhindered and efficiently.

If you feel I am over looking your log, or it has been 72 hours since I have replied, please send me a Private Message with a link to this thread.

Thanks for your patience.

Pre-Step (Optional):

Download TFC to your desktop.
  • Close any open windows.

  • Double click the TFC icon to run the program

  • TFC will close all open programs itself in order to run,

  • Click the Start button to begin the process.

  • Allow TFC to run uninterrupted.

  • The program should not take long to finish it's job

  • Once its finished it should automatically reboot your machine,

  • if it doesn't, manually reboot to ensure a complete clean

Step 1:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Then, follow the below instructions for the proper installation and optimization of this tool.
  • Change the file name of the setup by clicking on the file you've just downloaded, and hitting F2. Change it to 'purple.exe'.

  • Double-click on the 'purple.exe' file and follow the prompts for installation, configuring it how you wish.

  • Make sure the checkboxes next to 'Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware' and 'Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware' are checked during the installation.

  • When Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware opens, check the radio box next to 'Perform Full Scan' and proceed by clicking on 'Scan'.

  • Allow it to scan your computer uninterrupted until it's finished. Do not download or install anything whilst the scan is in progress. It can take up to three hours (possibly more) to complete. Avoid clicking on the interface whilst the scan's in progress also, as it may stall the application.

  • When the scan has completed, click on 'Show Results'. If infections are found, make sure a check mark is placed next to all objects found. Allow Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to remove everything found by clicking on 'Remove Selected'.

  • After this has completed, a log file will appear. Please copy and paste the contents of this log into your next reply. If it is too big to paste into a reply, please use PasteBin.

  • If you're prompted to restart your computer, please do so.

Step 2:

Note: You can use either Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox for this scan. You will however need to disable your current installed Anti-Virus, how to do so can be read 'here'.
  • Please go 'here' then click on:
    • Note: If using Mozilla Firefox you will need to download esetsmartinstaller_enu.exe when prompted then double click on it to install.
All of the below instructions are compatible with either Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox.

  • Select the option YES, I accept the Terms of Use then click on:

  • When prompted allow the Add-On/Active X to install.

  • Make sure that the option Remove found threats is checked, and the option Scan archives is checked.

  • Now click on Advanced Settings and select the following:

  • When completed the Online Scan will begin automatically.

  • Do not touch either the Mouse or keyboard during the scan otherwise it may stall.

  • When completed make sure you first copy the logfile located at C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Online Scanner\log.txt

  • Copy and paste that log as a reply to this topic.

  • Now click on: (Selecting Uninstall application on close if you so wish)

  1. LINK 1

  2. LINK 2

  3. LINK 3

Remember to save it on your Desktop.

  • Click on Minimal Output at the top

  • Paste this into Custom Scan box at the bottom

    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post them in this thread. Remember to use www.pastebin.com as the logs may be too long to post.

  • Double click the exe file.

  • If it gives you a warning about rootkit activity and asks if you want to run scan...click on NO, then use the following settings for a more complete scan.

  • In the right panel, you will see several boxes that have been checked. Ensure the following are unchecked
    • IAT/EAT

    • Drives/Partition other than Systemdrive (typically C:\)

    • Show All (don't miss this one)

  • Then click the Scan button & wait for it to finish.

  • Once done click on the [Save..] button, and in the File name area, type in "Gmer.txt" or it will save as a .log file which cannot be uploaded to your post.

  • Save it where you can easily find it, such as your desktop, and attach it in reply.

Caution
Rootkit scans often produce false positives. Do NOT take any action on any "<--- ROOKIT" entries

NOTE: It is not unusual for GMER to take glitch and not scan. Just tell me.
