You need more than 512 mb to PLAY Minecraft let alone host a server unfortunately. Also, it's only for the first month as a note to potential users and U.S. only.

512MB is more then enough to host a server for 2, which is what I'm going to do.

Fuck!! asks for credit card ! & I don't think any one would like to provide the sensitive information like that. Then will charge some 1.xx $ for sign up & will refund that immediately to verify that you are in US or not.

Looks like a scam when I enter the right CC details it says it's can't verify them because of a strange reason so I think it is stealing the CC info for some reason or other >,>

<<WARNING>> It's either a scam or closed beta, so no point in entering your info. I entered my cc info (created a virtual account with a low limit through my bank) and after it verified everything was correct, it says:

Edit: and even though it says that the $1.01 is refunded instantly after the charge is made, the $1.01 charge is still showing up on my card...
