As some have noticed I have altered the UID of the member N to UID #2. I of course am UID #1. I spent many hours fine tuning a set of queries for a UID change. Seems to be working perfectly. Not all UID's are available. To check just enter into the URL bar the profile link and if it comes up with "Member does not exist" then it's available.

It's been mentioned before that members wanted to Bookmark important threads for themselves.

I'm iffy on adding the feature since all browsers do have Bookmarks built in. But I'm not against it entirely.

Today while reviewing the situation and how I might incorporate it I saw that in the User Control Panel you have the Subscribed Threads and there is indeed an option for "no notification".

See it on the Bottom Right as a selectable option and I have "Divi for the Win" thread set as "No Notification".


However, when you're actually in a thread and set the Subscribe Thread it doesn't display a "No Notification" option. Seems like an opening for me to make an adjustment and set "Bookmark only".

Or I can just add a "Bookmark" to this menu list and do the same function...



What do members thinks? Any comments on how you'd like to see a Bookmark feature implemented?

I have some notes on this as a feature but tonight hashed out the concept some more and I have a working outline to provide the community.

Group Prestige will be the feature. It will be a formula in the database/code that tally's certain actions of group members. The concept is to inspire groups into action. Once implemented I will consider how to reward High Prestige groups.
