To kick off (yes, I'm a day late) Octoberfest 2024 on HF we have a new Award Goal.

Make 600 posts and 30 threads to earn the Green Pumpkin award.

Please make sure you're putting in some quality to your posting. Don't just spam the site with BS. Going to instruct Staff (and upcoming Mentors) to be more strict on that. So if you're gonna LQP, expect warnings and potentially a post suspension.

This is the first of many items I'll be adding this month to kick off the season.

Do we get the October Feast event this year? For the past three years, participants who posted 500 posts during the event received the Pumpkin Award. I haven't heard any news this time. Any updates?

I have lowered the minimum from 250 to 100 Bytes for attachments. It was originally 10, people advised to raise it but 250 probably a little high. I think 100 seems reasonable level for now.
