* - Gladly - Sep 3, 2015 ![]() What are some of your skills?: I have a great amount of skill in drawing and art, whether it be multimedia, digital, or simply pencil and paper. I know basic animation (Flash), which also happens to correlate with a hobby of mine. I am good at writing articles, papers, and reviews (been on the HF News Team since early this year), which makes college a little easier. I’m also skilled at making instant noodles. How can you contribute to the group?: I can write threads, reviews (nearly any piece of writing really) when necessary, host events, and most of all I can contribute my free time. Links to any contributions: HF News since issue 238 Titans Events, Titans avatar/signature designs https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4963786 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4301019 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4810520 Reviews: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4113404 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4448807 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4146047 Reason why you want to join? (take some time to fill this section): It’s neat that and all that you guys are ‘prestigious’, but honestly, what I enjoy about Red Lions members is they show consistency. There are no real “bad” or “low quality” members of the group from what I can see; most members of the group have an area of knowledge where they assist those they can in that area. For example, A Red Lions group member may have a help desk in a section, or act almost as a mentor or a role model for a sub forum. I enjoy the concept of helping people where you can, and I wouldn’t mind being a part of that. I feel I can show the consistency I see the Red Lions userbase portray. I’m knowledgeable in various areas, whether it be tech related things or media, and I want to contribute what I know to the group. How much time can you devote towards group activities: The free time I get when I’m not in class, as I’m a full time student and that will always come before this forum. Name: Gladly aka Gladaddy Age: PM Country/State: USA, PM for state In one paragraph, describe your personality: I’m the kind of person who is pretty compulsive about details and finishing things. If I finish a piece, I'll continue trying to add to it or improve it over, and over, and over until I’m fully satisfied. I’m pretty analytical for the most part, so I tend to look into things more than I need to, or question a variety of things that pique my interest. I can be an introvert occasionally when it comes to meeting new people, but when I get to know someone, I really get to know them and show my true nature. I am very well rounded in most areas, and can get good at things that grab my attention. Lastly, I’m pretty laid back and friendly; you won’t really see me attacking members or being an outright jerk. Most who know me will tell you that I’m a pretty nice guy. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: My grammar is a 9, I’m sure I make some mistakes I will seldom miss. Grammatical mistakes are few and far between for the most part. When I need to write properly, I do just that. Thanks for reading. [header img src] * - Angеl - Sep 3, 2015 Name: Angel Age: 21 Country/State: USA/NC In one paragraph, describe your personality: I consider myself to be blunt, yet honest. In certain circumstances I can come off as extremely arrogant but under this facade I'm actually a quite nice and humble guy who enjoys helping others above all else. If need be, I can become quite confrontational (especially during debates) but never in an overly aggressive manner. This attitude stems from me being an extremely competitive individual. I guess I've sort of developed a competitive mentality from participating in sports for the greater portion of my life. I'm an extrovert with absolutely no filter on what I say and do. As such, I'm an outgoing individual who doesn't mind being in the center of a crowd. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: I'd say around an 8. I'm not conceited enough to say my grammar is a perfect 10 but I do consider it to be above average. I like to think that my grammar is up to par with my level of education but everyone slips up here and there. What are some of your skills?: Other than being able to keep a discussion going and writing reviews, I have nothing to brag about. I feel I am a skilled reviewer of movies, television series, music, and some video games. I like to write and I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to the English language. Being a senior CS major in college, I've learned to code well over many years of dedication and practice. Along with learning to code, minoring in CIS has helped me experience the business aspects of the IT industry. I can code efficiently in Java, Python, ASM, C, C++, and C# and I am at least proficient enough to obtain an internship with a one of the most prominent power corporations in the US working with and developing nuclear applications. I've also recently acquired my android developers license. How can you contribute to the group?: As said above in the “describe me” paragraph, I’m a fun user to talk to. Being a part of a forum group is very much social based, and whenever I can, I love to have good discussions with members on their beliefs as well as having debates on both common and controversial topics. If members are having any problems, whether it be emotional or physical, I’m more than happy to help them out and try and resolve their problem. As for my skills, I can only contribute to the best of my own ability and nothing more. As long as I know I am giving the best I can, and if that is still not enough I will be satisfied no matter what occurs. I can also contribute a wide array of knowledge to the group and assist members with everyday problems, as I am a very reliable person. Links to any contributions: There aren't any threads of my own that I'm particularly proud of (other than threads for particular TV shows where I can enjoy a genuine discussion with fellow members), but I am a dedicated volunteer writer for AA Weekly, a weekly newsletter released to the AA section. I'm extremely proud to work with this small, dedicated team and will continue to work with them for as long as I'm able to. Along with volunteer writing, I'm also the technology news writer for the HF News and have been formally since Edition 232. Spoiler (Click to View) Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Since the day I registered on Hack Forums Red Lions has always be one of my ''goals'' to reach on HF. I want to join Red Lions because of the mysteriousness that lurks around your group and how rarely you accept members and I'm truly humbled to have a chance to apply for such a group. One of my main reasons for wanting to joining is to help improve my self and learn from your outstanding member-base to not only help enrich my knowledge but to also broaden it as a whole. I am always up for helping people with whatever they may need and although I probably couldn't bring anything new or unique to the group, I feel I could still be a valuable part of Red Lions as a whole. I'm a down to earth guy than can bring a positive and team mentality into this group. I want to see myself as a member of your family. I wish to be a part of something bigger than myself, I am worthy of the title Red Lion and I will display it as such. I would be proud to call myself a Red Lion, and I hope you will too. Whether getting accepted or not, I think Red Lions as a whole have what it takes to do some cool and different things and I'd love to see where this group goes. How much time can you devote towards group activities: Unless said activities conflict with school or work (e.g. holding group activities during my exam schedule), I'm willing to spend a good amount of my time helping with group activities. I usually spend a minimum of four hours online each day. Being the determined and diligent worker that I am, I enjoy helping out on group projects in anyway I can. * - morph - Sep 4, 2015

I don't devote much time writing tutorials as i don't have enough time to do it, but sure thing i'd do it for RedLions in a near feature. How much time can you devote towards group activities: i would devote as much as time is needed to be part of this amazing group. I am only in Pirates for 2 month and i am over 200 post in the SF, gathering nice ideas and projects. 😊 Miscellaneous Questions (Required) Name: Elliot Malek Age: 27 Country/State: Canada/Quebec In one paragraph, describe your personality: Calm, Patient, Generous and always there to help my forward fellow, as i used to live in the streets, when someone need help i am always there to help people out for free and more importantly with my heart expecting nothing in return. I am very social and get a long with a lot of people and I do not really hold grudges. I'm not one to lose their temper and get blinded by rage or get into heated arguments. My sense of humor can be quite self deprecating so some of the jokes I make can go over peoples head and make them feel uncomfortable if they do not know me. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: I think my grammar is pretty good when I can be bothered enough to use it. There are a lot of threads here that I do not feel deserve effort so I will type without grammar. I try to be as clear as possible and not jumble my words when helping other users. What are some of your skills?:
How can you contribute to the group?: I can bring activity, help with group projects and help users outside of the group to help keep the good name RL has. Links to any contributions: I do not have any big threads and I do not consider giveaways a noteworthy contribution, although I have done my fair share. So I will link to a few posts where I help some users out.
I personally think helping individual users if better than making a large thread. I know I sure like interacting with someone rather than trying to read about it on a big thread made 4 years ago. Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Just like everyone else, I believe Red Lions is one of the most prestigious groups here and it has always been kind of a 'goal' to be seen as quality enough to be a part of it. Because it is such a small group I assume it would give real a sense of comradery compared to the groups that have 100s of members. I think that being a part of that is something I would like very much. How much time can you devote towards group activities: I can be online for up to 12 hours a day these days. I do not have a lot going on so I have nothing but time. If the group activity is something that interests me I could put in a lot of time. * - Matt Bomer™ - Sep 4, 2015 Reserving the spot for the application. * - Support™ - Sep 5, 2015 Miscellaneous questions:

I'm very considerate towards others and will always try to help if it's within my power. I'm loyal and eager to learn and experience new things. My biggest interests are cultures and their languages, I spend a good amount of my time learning them (At the moment French and German). In my eyes everyone is equal and deserves the same attention/help. May it be a new member or experienced member.. I don't like the terms "LQ", "skid", ect.. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: Taking into consideration that I'm from Europe I think my grammar is somewhere around 7. What are some of your skills?: At the moment I'm mainly interested in networking and Steganography. In the past I did a bit of everything.. Reverse engineering, pen-testing (mostly web), Malware (RAT) & Malware-removal, I feel I have a good understanding of how RATs work, I have owned a RAT in the past.. and during the endless hours of support I think I have probably seen every possible issue a user may come across while using their RAT. I know my way around HTML, CSS, Batch and studied Python in the past. A few months ago I considered to learn c++ and covered the basics, unfortunately I decided to place it to the side for the time being. I'm good at anything business related, off forums I work as a salesperson, selling multimedia products and household cosmetics & luxury perfumes. On HF I have also had several good selling products, this is something I really enjoy doing. When it comes to graphic design I'm by far good at it but I can handle myself if I need a logo or simple thread design for myself. Social engineering is something I really enjoyed doing, a few years back. I would setup a small group with me, my brother and another friend and try to SE as many goods as possible during that day. I think I have SEd over €750 worth of goods, this goes from headsets to webcams, games, cannabis seeds, ect.. I'm good at languages, I speak Dutch, English fluently, know french and Arabic on a decent level (still studying) and plan to start my German classes within a few months. Learning these languages is something I really enjoy doing and something I don't mind spending my time on. It's very rewarding. How can you contribute to the group?: In any way you want. As of now I'm fairly active on the forums and spend most of my time helping people within the RAT section. I will do what's required from me if I were to be accepted in the group and will maintain the good image the Red Lions have. Whether it's helping, teaching members or learning from them myself. I'll do it with passion and great dedication. Links to any contributions: [FREE] Problems portforwarding? Whether it was by donations or helping other members with issues, I have always found it a great thing to do and it always fascinated me to do my share of giving/helping towards the community. Over the time, meeting some Red Lions members I have come to the conclusion that the group consists of wonderful people who are here to better the community. I have never had bad experiences with the group or any of it's members. I would be extremely honored to be a part of this and meet all the great people within the group and hopefully contribute in the best way I can. I feel like this would be a great opportunity & new experience for me that hopefully opens new doors. On top of that my time on HF has been somewhat boring lately and I'm honestly looking for something new and exciting I can dedicate my attention to. Hopefully that will be the Red Lions. How much time can you devote towards group activities: As much as you need me to, I will do my best to participate in every group activity, event or whatever it may be. Thank you for your time, reading this application. I hope it wasn't too boring to read. What are some of your skills?:
I'd give my grammar a 9. Most grammatical mistakes are from me rushing while I type.A skill that I value the most is that of being able to connect and understand others on a personal level. I'm also very knowledgeable in psychological disorders (anxiety, depression, OCD....) I'm also a beginner level coder in Python and Java. I'm also (in my opinion) a very good guitar player. How can you contribute to the group?: I can help out users inside the group that have some sort of mental problems or any life problems that they may have. I could even teach you all how to play guitar if many people are interested in doing so. I can even do my best to help people financially if they are struggling to make ends meet. I also like giving away money occasionally so that could be something as well. If someone needs a favor I'll try my best to help. I remember ever since I joined HF that the group has always been composed of such generous and high quality members. I'm that type of member. I love contributing to people either by tutorials, giveaways, or services. This group stands out from all others simply because it is "pure". It's completely unique from all others and it's not money driven. When ever I see the group I see myself. I feel that this group represents everything about me as a person and as a member of HF. I believe that an HQ user is defined not by their post count nor rep, but by the quality and tone in their posts. How much time can you devote towards group activities: I can devote as much time as humanly possible. I'm usually a very active member. I think the only reason for me not to be on much is for some illness or tragedy.
