How many seconds will you wait holding the door for someone?

Approximately 3 seconds then I’m done
Never measured it that way, i’d consider how far they are from the door and if its close enough i’ll just hold it.

I like to hold it open and stare when they are still deep in the parking lot so they have to run up to me.
Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!
[Safe Trading Guide] Middleman Services
Friends - 10 Seconds
Family - Minutes
Strangers - 2 Seconds
3-10 seconds, depending on who they are.
Not long that’s for sure use it or lose it
I'm only going to hold the door for about 3 or 4 seconds before I decide you don't respect my generosity and I just shut it on you.
Never had a situation where I had to wait too long (longer than 5 seconds).
When in transit, I hold the door open and move while holding it. If you are not on time, and I'm not bothered to hold it unless you're handicapped or old.

A few seconds, after that it will just get annoying.

Paradise by the dashboard light.
About 4 months, or as far back in the grave this thread was dug from.

In all seriousness though lol I'd hold it for as long as it took for the person to reach the door. If they're a mile away and I've just stopped real quick to see if they're coming to the door, they might be on there own.

A few seconds, but if I see it's someone that needs it I'll hold it open as long as needed. I can't stand the people that act like you owe it to them to hold the door.
Nice to meet ya.
