You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but can you pick a lock?

I personally can’t speak on any recommendations or quality of tools. I did use my friend’s set and it did the job. I believe it was the Tuxedo Set by Sparrows.

Additionally, I’m not sure if you have to be registered or licensed to legal own these sets. So that’s always something to consider. Obviously, it depends on the country or state you live in. Perhaps, you may not even care.
I watch LPL and McNally all the time, never tried to do it myself as far as I can remember but I bet it’s a huge dopamine rush as a beginner haha. Always wanted to buy a beginner’s set with a transparent lock just to fuck around with but never got around to buy it, I know it takes a couple of clicks but my procrastination is too bad

What's the toughest lock you've tried picking?

I am not into lockpicking anymore but I can open lock with 2 spools.
https://www.youtube.com/@bosnianbill is good to watch also.
I've had luck here and there with old locks and pairs of scissors or something sharp. I have really wanted to get one of those sets of rakes they sell on lockpickinglawyer as they seem pretty simple to use.
Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!

A simple hook for single pin picking is most versatile, but rakes will certainly get you into the masterlocks of the world and pretty much anything else without pick resistant features.
