Hello all im new to btc, i bought some on localbitcoins, my question is what is the best wallet to store my coins for long term storage??

Question 2: im thinking about storing them in exodus, can i use backup phrase in another software if something happened to exodus in the future?
is that possible?

Long Term = Hardware Wallet.
If you don't want to invest in such a cheap solution, use Exodus.

Yes, you can import and export private keys.

Yes, Exodus is a good choice for holding crypto long term. I recently recovered some ETH which I bought 3 years ago with Exodus. Recovering was pretty smooth without a problem just make sure that you dont lose your seed phrase.
