Are you using your localhost? Being 127.0.0.1
(Jul 17, 2013 06:40 PM)Tzesi Wrote:  Do you think DarkComet 5.3 is the "best"(in your standards) free RAT?

DarkComet is indeed the best free and reliable rat I would say. The version I'd recommend getting is 5.3.1F as after that the owner had stopped creating malicious programs.
(Jul 17, 2013 07:30 PM)josimc Wrote:  No I am using no-ip. Not using local host.

Switch to your localhost, then run it on yourself.
(Jul 17, 2013 08:29 PM)Tzesi Wrote:  Just to make sure, localhost works only on yourself, right?

Correct, to infect others you'd need to use your no-ip host.
(Jul 17, 2013 08:56 PM)Tzesi Wrote:  So No-IP allows you to have a Dynamic IP since you're using their "domain".Will I have any problems to consider If I'm using a VPN?

Edit: You gotta love my newbie questions :D

What? No-IP doesn't make you have a Dynamic IP, it is just your host, and no you will not have any issues if you're using a VPN as long as it supports portforwarding.

If you plan on using a VPN I'd suggest Anonymous' VPN which costs $5/M as it allows portforwarding.
(Jul 18, 2013 08:01 AM)josimc Wrote:  I found out why it isn't working, it's Norton. If your familiar with Norton how can I turn off Norton without having to uninstall it.

You should always turn off your AV's if you plan on infecting yourself. After this, I'd recommend switching from Norton to MalwareBytes as it is much better in my opinion.

So not I need a crypter. Do you guys know of a $1 or low priced crypter or free crypter. I will admit I'm pretty poor. Thanks, I know these kind of crypters won't be that good, but it's better than nothing.

There are no $1 crypters sadly, although you may be able to find someone selling you a single crypt for $1, go make a thread for it in Buyers Bay.

The free crypters have a high detection rate and wouldn't do much.

for like 1$ you can get someone to crypt it for you (if he/she does it then always look in TV because he/she can give u her RAT or other malware.) and a free crypter is not good they are most of the time UD(undetectable) and not FUD(Fully undetectable)

-Sorry if I answered his question XD
(Jul 18, 2013 08:31 AM)josimc Wrote:  I did that, Norton still blocked it....

As it should, I had no idea you still had any AV's running. To test if you have setup everything correctly, use an uncrypted server on anubis and see if you get a slave.
(Jul 18, 2013 08:34 AM)Tzesi Wrote:  I should port forward my router to "Listen on Port" value?
I'm using DarkComet.

Yes, for example if I want to portforward the port 1604, I'd do so on my router, then listen to it on DC.

(Jul 18, 2013 08:35 AM)josimc Wrote:  Dang.. What is the normal price range for a good crypter, I just looked in my paypal and I have $5.

The lowest I can think of is RazorCrypt which costs $10/M.
(Jul 18, 2013 09:08 AM)josimc Wrote:  Yeah your right, I tried it out on myself and norton got it no problem. Thanks again for the help!🤝

Good luck with other peoples questions!

Not a problem, any more help that is needed feel free to come here and ask!

Thank you.
(Jul 18, 2013 09:46 AM)Tzesi Wrote:  So basically it doesn't matter what port it is as long as I make DC listen to it?

Not exactly, but the most common ports that I have seen used are 200 & 1604.
