I have never mined before, and for some reason, I can't find another tutorial. So if anyone can help me, that'll be great.

It sort of works, but it doesn't get me to the point to setting up cgminer with my OMC wallet and mining with Xen0n's pool.

It's quite confusing and I thought a tutorial on it should be added.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see my problem.

Make an account on a pool (eg. Doc's or Xen's) and create a worker.
Put in the premade config from Doc's thread into a batch file in the same directory as your miner (CGMiner = AMD and CUDAMiner = Nvidia), and edit the config to match your worker and account settings.
Run the batch file.

When I try your fix it seems to compile but I can't find the omnicoin-qt file/executable/w.e

Inside the leveldb directory run
make libmemenv.a libleveldb.a

Don't build the main source, build the thing inside src/

OmniCoind doesn't have a GUI.

That is the source for the QT client, you don't need that.
