Is there an online wallet?
Is there a config file I need to make or something?
Using Windows
Config file should be made in "\AppData\Roaming\OmniCoin"
To access appdata -> Go to RUN -> type in "%appdata%"
Create it as omnicoin.conf file and put in the following codes.
Quote:rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
addnode=172.245.39.121
addnode=151.228.222.25
addnode=198.100.155.248
rpcallowip=10.0.0.17
rpcport=43555
server=1
daemon=1

well how do you think we're going to fix that if you just say it won't work?

This coin is a joke cause its not syncing or working on your computer yet it works for everyone else. Okay lol what ever you say.
Also your firewall may be blocking peers, so try disabling your firewall and then run the wallet that way you'll be able to sync to online nodes.
One tip to remember, chill.

Hello,
Today I wanted to get involved in OmniCoin to show my support to the HF community, however I ran into an issue with the wallet and cannot get an address. I downloaded the wallet and ran it. It started to update and then all of a sudden said, "OmniCoin-qt stopped working" and closed. I tried again and it instantly crashed. Then I redownloaded the wallet and tried again and it still didnt start and instantly crashed.
I contacted Xen0n for help and his steps didn't solve my problem so he told me to post here.
The steps he told me that didn't work were:
1) Delete all copies of OmniCoin you have
2) Go into %appdata% and delete OmniCoin
3) Re-download the wallet from an official mirror
I have the debug.log from when I first ran the QT, but now as I am trying to run the freshly downloaded one, it is making an empty folder in my appdata.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Dunno, if this is where i should report bugs, but...
When I file > exit the qt. It still stays running on windows.
I have to Force Kill it within task manager.
Will join.me it if ya wanna see 😊

I also get PHP Code
<?php g++: error: /root/Omnicoin/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a: No such file or directory g++: error: /root/Omnicoin/src/leveldb/libmemenv.a: No such file or directory make: *** [OmniCoin-qt] Error 1
When I try your fix it seems to compile but I can't find the omnicoin-qt file/executable/w.e

Inside the leveldb directory run
make libmemenv.a libleveldb.a

Well shit, that works. Thanks.
Is there a command like --no-display so that I can run this on a server for a service?

Don't build the main source, build the thing inside src/
OmniCoind doesn't have a GUI.
is this the mining source i am confused

No, you seem confused. What are you trying to do?
That is the source for the QT client, you don't need that.
