I'm just confused because i'm being sarcastic and it makes me feel horrible that someone would do this. Despite me helping so many people with their posts. I thought these forums wouldn't have people abusing their power to make people feel like leaving the site. Im just asking if this is a valid use of negative rep.

Yeah i was so excited to get 4 rep (I'm new) but when that guy just negative rep'd me in a matter of minutes, it made me feel horrible.

I feel bad for you but just ignore it, everyone but very little has bullshit negs including me. However we see past that and by being positive accumulate more.

Stop making rep such a big deal, soon you'll realise the way to get negs is to not be afraid to speak your opinion, and the way to not get negs is to be a little bitch and never slightly offend anyone. No. Just no. OP is human and everyone is affected by rep. Saying he wouldn't care about negs is saying his ego is void and that he utterly doesn't care about what anyone thinks about him here.

your rep isn't what is going to make people not trust you.
it's your lack of time/upgrade/vouches that will make people not trust you.

I got 500rep and almost 4 years reg time, and people still don't trust me because I've not done a whole lot of exchanging/trading.

people will still trade you, they just won't trust you.
so you're going to have to be willing to go first in trades until you gain trust through trade experience on HF.

No its not that. As i said before I'm new so from what i saw i realized that this does not have as much worth as i thought.

Is there a way to close or delete threads. I got the answer i needed and this is a useless thread now.
