Nothing about anti virus software, but how can I become more aware If its a virus or not? I've had to reset my computer to factory mode twice already because I'm too gullible. Tips? Who's trustworthy recommending programs?

-A community forums is VERY VERY good, that means usually the website can be trusted.

A note about the first picture, why is there a picture of a guy reviewing a product, and has no information on it, or something to say at all!

Sorry about my shitty Paint.exe skills.

Thanks.

Thanks dude :D I will try my best to remember all this
Do what I do and scan everything before running it, 3 times just to make sure on different scanners.
I may suck by answering with this answer.
Just don't download unknown resources.
Just dont click any link randoms give you or download anything to your computer.
The way I stay safe from viruses are: Don't download anything unless it's from an official website such as Microsoft, Steam, etc...
Never click random links Always look at the url of links
Use antivirus and antimalware software like Avast, Malwarebytes, etc...

Even if you do all of these things you can see get a virus, but it'll happen through something like a security exploit of a program.
My advice to you would be to not download things that are too good to be true.

Also, if everyone followed the whole "only download from popular websites that are known to be trusted" then it would make being a new developer harder to get people to try out your creation.

Get a good anti-virus, anti-malware and anti-spyware and you should be good. Keep in mind that most paid ones are better than most free ones. But there are some decent free ones such as Avast.
