Windows 10 - Discussion Thread

Windows 8 is really bad to me, will be upgrading as soon as possible!
"Your Microsoft account says you’re under 18 years old. You have to be an adult to join the Windows Insider Program."
Yeah, thank you Microsoft -.-
Linux operating system masterace right here :)
Just to make everything Clear "Windows 9 = Windows 10"

They just changed the name from 9 to 10

The accessibility is as convenient as Windows 7 and features of windows 8 are optional which I like. I think I may be upgrading to windows 10 from 7 finally. I think the user interface is easy to use and will be a major improvement from windows 8 flaws. GOOD JOB Microsoft. Thanks OP for the tips too, I only played with it for 20 minutes. Tomorrow I will analyze the built in security features and report back.

All I see is the same metro feel and the start menu looks ugly and new useless features and a big botnet.

No, you guys really don't care about your privacy.
Looks pretty cool, but I'm going to stick to 8.1 until the official release.

Well done Microsoft, you've continued to legacy of amazing OS's after terrible OS's.

huge upgrade? lol removing a start menu and adding a few multitasking bullshit is huge? keep Windows 7 user content? lol what? legacy of amazing OS's after terrible OS's lol no its still shit and the legacy thing is bullshit.

All the features are not there nor are all the features even officially annouced.

Even when windows 10 comes out its going to be shit just like 8 and since it is a tech preview that guy should have not said all those things.

Faster - invalid
Secure? Well see
Stable? Well see
No metro interface? Are you blind?
pessimistic? Yea
I feel bad for our future because idiots like you don't care about privacy.
My opinion on Windows 10:

Good :
The good side of windows 10 , it's, it got isanely fast boot time, the look it's very clean, it's running fast.

another thing that is good, it's alot of virus/mallware wont be able to infect system, because it's new. but in the down side it will be able in some time :(

Down Side:
The down side : it's rquire alot of ram Example 32Bit needs 4gb whic it's insane, but now i see more and more ram become normal. but in the other side, the people who got old pc and not got enough money to upgrade and want to test it can't.

and ofc drivers are not uptodate, because the system is new.

another down side, it's that many programs wont run on it at the moment.

Thats all (:
i've been running it in a multiboot system windows 10, 8.1, 7, vista, and xp all 64 bit editions with 8.1 as default, the only problem i have encountered is that sometimes it doesn't want to start or shut down correctly, other than that it's working great and even the programs i have tested on their works, the sims 4 played on it excellent

what bugs ave you come across? and how severe were they
I like the concept of Windows 10. Its good to see they are listening to the customers and adding back in the old windows 7 task menus while integrating the Windows 8 Theme. Very clever.

There not listening to theirs customers, and it still looks like shit.

Since I didn't back-up my windows 7 before installing technical I am stuck with it. I don't see many bugs that would be a problem to users. I've been using it for about a week and a half now and i'm doing fine using it as a "stable" OS.
