Theoretically Remove a File from Someones Machine

You probally wouldnt execpt if you found a remote exploit.
It's Hackforums, you don't have to be theoretical.

It honestly will come down to a little bit of social engineering (which I can't talk about on this forum). I think, at least for an amateur. a RAT or a stealer is the way to go. If you can find a way for somebody to run it on that computer, and grant you remote access from running it, you should be able to run a command to remove those files.

You'll have to put a bit of common sense and work into it, but if it's valuable information, then it should be worth it.

Note: For sending it, if you know an email, try that way. Think of some sort of plan in advance, don't just send stuff though.

He said without using a rat.
And you wouldnt get access with a stealer execpt if a ftp was running.

Then simply navigate to the files and delete them. Op you should search for an rdp exploit in windows or just scan the IP with Kali and hope to be able to get a meterpreter shell. Honestly what you are trying to do is not that difficult with the right tools and knowledge.

Why would a semi stupid pc user have rdp enabled.
Its disabled by default so i doubt that would work out.

And i suggested to him to use a RAT.

A stealer can get credentials to other useful logins.

I can read.

Yeah you suggested rat but he didnt want a rat.
A stealer cant delete files or get remote access.

But if it was your ex.
Why would she trust you?
I believe that a R.A.T would actually be the best solution here.

Do you have access to the Dropbox account?
no no no no.
You can't hack into someones computer just by their ip

Accounts on websites for example is on the table tho...

That's not what he's implying. How about you actually read the OP before posting.

"lets say Theoretically that the guy has the IP addresses and knows the location of the files on the system, and this guy wants to hack into the computer delete the files and get out unseen."

He has the ip addresses of the victim
He knows where its located on system
Wants to hack into the computer and delete the files

What am I missing? or did I just misread it?
While I don't know about hacking your way into a computer system, what I do know is that since the "theoretical" person had a relationship with the victim that ended and the other person had personal information. If that information was found to be missing, it would point back to you, who else would simply delete that info and leave it at that? The point I'm making is, it's difficult to make anything "100%" undetectable and without traces. I'm a bit tired at this point, so I hope I worded this in a way it would make sense.
