Earlier tonight AllCrypt was shutdown. They just posted the following on twitter:

Well, due to some apparent exploit in wordpress, someone, somehow, got into the server tonight, installed some files, and managed to empty the goddamned BTC wallet. Best I can tell it was something with that worthless pile of shit software wordpress.
I'm fucking done. I run a site, spend thousands of hours of time, thousands of dollars of my OWN money to run it, decide to shut down, and somehow, through ways I cannot even figure the hell out, someone gets in, uploads files to the server, somehow finds the goddamned BTC wallet on the network, and it appears that they slammed it with withdraw requests. Of course, the wallet is locked - but it unlocks when a withdraw is legitimately made through the site. I THINK they made a real wd on the site, and then slammed the backdoor to get the other funds out.
We had 42 BTC in the wallet. 12 was the sites. 30 was users BTC. I'm fucking done with crypto. I'll post details when I sort this fucking mess out. Not that it will matter, because no one ever actually gives a shit when something like this happens.

I never used all crypt. I did once and they scammed me out of $9 BTC. I tried to withdraw and I never got it.
They said that they were only shutting down temporarily because of short staffing but who knows.

Honestly, I don't really feel bad at all. It was doomed to happen. He ran a poorly made site with many bugs, never fixed any of them, and wasn't friendly in the slightest.
Eventually bugs caught up with him and he just blamed other people for it.
Now a nice big bug came along and really gave him a good bite
Although, this "hack" could have been an inside job. I wouldn't be surprised.

Well, according to them it was hacked a different way. But the vuln I found was another possible exploit.
Here's a hint: Easiest way to do an inside job? Take the fucking coins and pull the power cord. Not sit up til 4am dicking around with twitter and doing google searches on the asshole responsible.

Abe found an exploit which was fixed. Which had nothing to do with this.
Oh who gives a shit. Anything I say here is irrelevant anyway. I have better shit to do than to argue with kids at 4am.
I feel like this could be an exit strategy by the owner of the website. He's said time and again that he's lost a lot of time and money on the website and he's seemed quite bitter about it. Wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to not actually be hacked.

You're extremely unprofessional which makes me believe that it's probably your fault as opposed to a 0 day exploit. If you didn't want to put the time into the website (including support) then you never should have started it, simple as that.
Wordpress is not safer , practical experience
