I don't think it should be a contest. But at the same time, not an easy award to be handed out.
Guidelines Ofc and people gotta know if they don't get reward don't cry over it.

The Video Contest award is pretty null now, 3 of the 4 members are closed, and the award is very much time specific and outdated right now. Opening it up and introducing it again with a new purpose would be a first in HF history really, and help recycle awards a little bit. Whatcha think?
I agree with this! Right on the money.
Less people will do it if it's a contest.
If you are doing it promotions wise, do it handing out.

I personally would prefer if you'd just grant it over a contest. Makes more people get the award = happier community :)
I'm going to produce some really cringy videos for us all to reminisce on later.
Maybe allow 2 weeks of so for people to create youtube videos of X requirements then pick the best 25 or whatever. I'm guessing they'll be a good 100+ made lol.
It's good for HackForums if there are more video's on YouTube about it; sure. This would make it best to hand it to people that make videos.
But the other side it is better to make a contest thingy for it.
That would be the third time I get the award lol.
I remember you removed my Youtube award even though the video was still alive. Probably had to do with you closing my account -_-
