I will be opening up a homebrew supply store in my town shortly, once I locate a storefront space. This is a big leap, as homebrewing is still a pretty niche market, but the fact that there is no local store within 100 miles of me, and the growing interest in craft beer and brewing, led me to this.
It will likely be the most difficult of my business ventures so far, as the others are service based, and this is my first foray into the retail world (π€¦ββπ€¦ββ Retail profit margins are scary lol). If you know me, you ALSO know how passionate I am about craft beer and my brewing, this was just the next step. ππ
I'm super excited about this, my riskiest start-up yet!
Wish me luck π I'll update as things progress and we get operational.
Congratulations mate :)!
Really excited to hear things like this.
I would love to talk to you about business sometime.
Right now I'm saving $20,000 for college (I'm 17) moving out in a year to start my bachelors degree as I should have my first 2 years in a year.
That 20k will go to rent, and financial aid covers like food/gas.
So all my income will be for self benefit/saving or business.
I'm really interested in gathering some knowledge from someone who is experienced.
Thanks mate!
