I went to ask for a raise, and was told I was the "highest paid non-sales based staff, so no".
Shortly after they took away my healthcare, and instead decided providing a $400 a month "bonus" was pretty much the same as having health care.
So I decided to hell with that and started my own business. My bosses counter-offer was to increase my salary by 2$ an hour, but then I'd no longer be eligible for vacation or sick time. So I'd be working with no healthcare, no time off, but a sweet sweet boost of 2$.
I've had about 8 clients thus far, and I'm working out deals with other local businesses to be the recommended "Go To".
Listen - If you've been doing something for years now. I don't care what it is - and you're good at it, and you feel like you might be burning out don't quit. Look at doing it yourself. You'll find people don't quit jobs, they quit because of management.
Nice to meet ya.
so , what kind of business you started ?

i have done the same.. started my own side business and slowly building it up. Good luck to you!
No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.
Same here kinda. Became a reseller recently.
Nice! Goodluck to you! A lot of people in trades tend to do this, they work with someone to learn the ins and outs of Framing or drywalling or things of that nature.
Once they’ve learned enough, they go off on their own and make some real money.
I wish you the best in your future endeavours!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Good luck to you. let us know if we can support it in anyway!!
Gz on starting your own business — that’s a great move, my friend!
Remember, wealthy people don’t depend on just one source of income. They create multiple sources of income.
Also, try to outsource and build a team. I’ve heard that “it’s not a business if you have to be there for it to work.”
One more thing for you = You can make more money while you sleep than you spend in a day or two.
Good luck bro , its good to work after your business rather than in someones else's

Tech support. Growing up without a lot of money taught me to take care of my things, and when they broke how to fix them. I learned that when fixing things nothing was more permanent than a temporary fix.
Nice to meet ya.
I love seeing people make life-changing moves that impact there self as well as the community you gonna go far kid
Congrats dude. I am also looking to start my own business because I hate working for people.
