I'm thinking about giving Anime a try

Well when watching subs I see that sometimes I'll have to go back because I didn't finish reading.

Keep watching subs, you'll get better at reading comprehension and language arts in school.
boku no pico give that a try man legit best fucking anime
Watch subbed, dubbed might be good in some cases but subbed has more emotion.
Also, watch School Days and Boku No Pico.
sometimes subs are better to watch because the dubs are fucking shit and dont show any emotion or anything so its not as powerful as subs.

Anime is pretty cool, I'd reccomend it to anyone. know what kind of geners you're into and take a look at the stickies. Good Luck :D
I was pretty ignorant to say that "Anime seems like shit" (I live in Australia and it's not MASSIVELY popular here) and after some consideration, I gave it a go and it was very different to what I assumed it would be. I enjoy it more than most TV shows at the moment, but I'm not overly obsessed with anime.
Try and think of what kind of genres you are interested in. If you enjoy comedy, read the stickies and there's bound to be ones that you'll enjoy that are packed with comedy.
Also, subbed or dubbed is just a personal preference. Most dubs are not that great and lack the emotion from regular Japanese voice acting, but there are definitely good ones out there.
Take your pick man, hopefully you enjoy it! :)
Up to you to pick dubbed or subbed op- no one's gonna give a shit- only those elitist dweebs who watched sword art online and think they know everything.

We love anime. i love you op.
I dislike anime a lot. If it suits you, go ahead. I suggest watching One piece, it is very old but is still one of the best and most famous. It will blow your mind. I know there are a lot of episodes but watch from the start and you'll be hooked.

Same thing sort of happened to me at first. Its not that I didnt finish reading it, it would be that I read it to fast to really comprehend what I just read haha.

you'll get use to it after a while. The thing you'll find is with a lot of anime the dubbed version is corny or just not that well put together.

I tried watching One Piece before. Maybe I'll pick it up as a side anime. I think my problem was is that it was the only anime I was trying to watch at the time. I finally learned it can be better to have multiple anime to watch so you dont get burnt out on just one.

If your just getting into anime I think you'd like these -

Akame ga Kill!
Naruto Shippuden
Sword Art Online/II
Attack on Titan
Death Note

Those are some of the more mainstream ones that basically everyone can enjoy.

I have no problem with English dubbed and if it's the only choice, I'll watch it but subbed is usually a better choice on most anime.
