I'm thinking about giving Anime a try

I was thinking about trying anime. I have watched some of Fullmetal Alchemist before and it was pretty good. Should I watched English Dubbed or Subs? When I watched Fullmetal Alchemist it was dubbed on Netflix but which should I watch now is one better or what✌
If you like subbed watch subbed. If you like dubbed watch dubbed. It's just a personal preference really even though most people here will tell you to watch subbed. I watch subs because most dubs are terrible imo but that's not saying there aren't good dubs out there.
FMA dub is really good, but if you're planning on getting deeper into it, it would be more beneficial to get used to subs.
I'd say subbed because that was what they was made for. Also most characters sound better with japanese voices imo.

Should I start FMA again or try Attack on Titan or something? Maybe Death Note.

Just watch FMA: Brotherhood, its way better than the original series.

Will I be confused because I didn't finish the first series?

The two series have nothing to do with each other so you can watch them independently and still understand everything. Brotherhood follows the manga.
I like subbed better, well depending on the show. I like the kawaiiii voices and it's how the show was intended to be heard. For example, Noragami would suck dick if it had English dub because Yato's voice is god damn perfect for him.

Honestly, start Death Note. It's pretty awesome lol
Definitely watch subs first, that way you won't have to get used to it later on (by then, you'll already be accustomed to English dubs).

I've met quite a number of people that refuse to watch anything that isn't English dubbed, since they hate reading. Should you be one of these people, please keep in mind that only a small percentage of anime out there are English dubbed. Some shows (such as Zero no Tsukaima) have English dubs for the first season only, with the subsequent seasons only giving you the option of watching it subbed. You're really limiting yourself if you just watch English dubs and no subs.

Not to mention some English dubs are god awful. The voices don't fit, they lack emotion, and they make all kinds of pronunciation errors. I much prefer the JP VA cast to that of the US VA cast for most shows.
I would never watch a sub first. Love watching them after because of how much more they capture emotion, but I don't like reading while I watch.

I'd recommend you watch FLCL. Fantastic starter anime.

I've been watching Soul Eater in subbed which is such an amazing anime! It has just the right balance of cartooniness (if that 's a word) and dark themes. There are such great characters and the plot in combination kept me hooked for 5-10 episodes at a time. It is easy to follow along and is worth it. Good luck :D

A lot of dubs are soo bad you wanna cry. Definitely go with subs. It can be hard in the beginning though since they move by pretty fast. Or maybe I'm just slow...
It really depends on the show, because all dubs aren't made by the same studio, nor do they have the same voice actors. Shows such as Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, and plenty of other action shows tend to have good dubs in my opinion. Shows licensed by Funimation also tend to have great dubs. On the other hand, a show like Mirai Nikki sounds bland in dub compared to sub (especially Yuno).

My answer? Neither is better than the other. Watch a mix of subbed shows and dubbed shows.
