Yes, I wet the toothbrush and then add toothpaste. Then once I get the toothpaste on there I rapidly brush those pearls.

This is for the people who put the toothpaste on their toothbrush and then soak it in water. Do not wet your toothbrush with toothpaste. Wetting toothbrush after adding the toothpaste will cause dilution of the fluoride concentration; add to that the further dilution when you place it inside the mouth. That is something completely not recommended.
