I’d be worried about critical infrastructure, mainly power production and emergency services. Other than a loss of profit for a day, I don’t think the other industries would matter too much. If everyone stopped working forever then that would be different lol
lots of money saved but everything would go to hell.

The results really depend on communication and planning. If this would've been announced and people prepare for it, there will not be that many problems for sure.
Tbh that’s how it feels here on Christmas no one works except a few stores that overcharge. So people stock up on stuff they need a day before that lol

It's very similar about here except they do work usually from 9 (or 10am) am to 2pm, around that.
Bus is actually also going in and out and same goes for trains.
What about hospitals? They must be open, same goes for police. At least in our country.
Do you have any of it open? Imagine this would all go down.
People are also in work, like in some important IT Infrastructures where they have to take care of shit, as long as you don't have kids that's fine I guess.
Everything is working pretty limited and almost everything is closed, I agree but it's open for short period of time.

People like to spend the day with family here, i am not saying no one works but most of the people get the day off. Only hospitals, police and necessities like that keeps everything check work but with less force.
I wonder how long it would take us to recover from a day like that.
I'm like a crushed light bulb, all out of shine.
I'm so scared of the future so I stay stuck, broken in to pieces and my spirit's all taped up.
To be that guy that pretends to be smart. It would probably result in trillions of dollars in losses
After a event like this has passed I wonder how people view on money would be like.
Ptsh for just 24 hours? may some companies will fall, money will be lost, who know people might be happy

Stores owned by people who resell from big stores are the ones overcharging here for everything. They overcharge on every day not just on Christmas but they are the only ones working on it.
Edit: Lucky cuck...
California just had a major power outage last week in hopes of stopping fires from extremely high winds. It was like a mini armageddon. Most stores were closed or rushing to get generators to keep their operation going. All gas stations were closed. Hardly any food. People were driving like maniacs because the intersection lights were out. People were going around looting rich houses. Tons of helicopters and news crews.
It definitely opened my eyes about how fast the whole system can collapse. That was only power too.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
The traffic would be insane. I would stay home.
well a lot of people would be dead because there would be no police or doctors or anything
