hurr..
,but then it wouldn't be Middle-manning. It is more like currency exchanging in a 3 ways deal, and only idiots would accept that kind of deal. Since the one in the middle holds the greatest risk of the buyer charging back..

So buyer>pp to exchanger> btc to seller
then what does the buyer get in return?
The smart exchangers will take the non-reversible currency, wait for the paypal to be sent to the other person, then send the non-reversible currency to the person who sent the paypal. Chargebacks are not a middle man's problem.

It's like PP holding except termed differently (and thus a gray area)....And a lot of idiots accepted paypal holding.
Actually im using my own PayPal account.
Im sure this rule will help alot members from being scammed.

It is not PP holding, and is more like an exchange, since the one in the middle will have to convert the pp received to bitcoin, so he can send it to the seller.

It isn't middle manning. It is more like a currency exchanger to me because if buyer chargebacks, the middle guy loses his money and his bitcoin.
You both didn't understand me.
Suppose, I have a crypter I'd like to sell. However, I don't have paypal and thus my customer base is much smaller. Can I hire someone to accept the paypal from buyer, send the crypter to buyer, and then send (the money - a percent) to me?
It's like a middleman except the middleman changes currency between the seller and buyer. E.g a combination of middleman and currency exchanger.
this will decrease sales alot too for those legit sellers who could not use paypal, but nonetheless good job on trying to lessen the scams
A middleman is typically someone acting as an escrow service who's willing to take the risk and manage a deal to ensure it's valid. A middleman often offers guarantees to parties involved in a deal. That's sort of why they exist. A middleman can accept many forms of payment not just PP. As a matter of good escrow a MM should use BTC if they truly want to facilitate a safe deal. When using a MM service both parties should be notified.
A PP holder is someone that accepts payments for someone else via PP. Often those involved in deals are not told they are paying a "holder". People who use holders are often people that either don't want to risk their own account but usually are people that PP doesn't allow to have an account. Holders are becoming a serious problem in this community where those looking for a "holder" that takes PP then pays them in BTC. This sets up the holder to get ripped off in deals while the other guy keeps the BTC and opens a new account to rinse and repeat. PP holders themselves should not be trusted. Someone can hold your money then tell you they got scammed or their account limited which may or may not be true. Or they could simply not give you the money and laugh at your stupidity.
In any case I'm viewing PP Holders as a form of financial fraud and a threat to the communities safety in the Marketplace. It will no longer be allowed. That does include offering to be one or if you're looking to get one. And you do what you want off-site but if I catch you doing this in HF deals I just close your account instantly and without care.
I hope that clarifies.

No. You're using a PP Holder in that case. Unacceptable. If you don't have PP then you tell your customers to send BTC.
This should be helpful with the scamming, I think it is a good over bad addition to the rules.
Thanks for your great service Omni sir , love to be to here

It should increase LEGIT sales by forcing more secure methods like aren't reversible like BTC. This might cause more exchanging though and adoption of BTC. This will definitely lower the rate of scamming.
If you are not using BTC then you should be. Not just because you don't have a PP account but because it's a growing form of secure payment online that solves many problems.
1. All BTC transactions are recorded publicly.
2. BTC transactions are NOT reversible.
3. You can obtain BTC through a variety of legit exchanges.
4. You can cash out BTC into other currency through many exchanges.
So get off your ass and get some BTC/LTC.
Putting the hammer down. I like that.

You know I don't get involved in deals. The phrase "accomodate members in banning..." means what exactly? Tread carefully. I'm in no mood for bullshit.

People may need exchanges more as they try to get some BTC to make deals with.
