Endangered gorilla shot dead

If you were that little boy, you'd love for the gorilla to be shot because YOUR FUCKING LIFE IS IN DANGER.

If you're that little boy you have no idea what is going on. You may want to stop that gorilla but listen to what you're actually typing. You're creating what you think the perspective of a child would be and using that as a justification for killing one of the few species of that gorilla left in the world. The parents have every right to be upset, but they are the ones at fault. The child wasn't hurt severely was he? Being dragged a little bit didn't kill him? If his parents were allowing him to fall into a cage at the zoo, of course he must be capable of handling a small bit of uncivil punishment am i right you conservative bastards?

The primate is the closest thing to human intelligence another animal is capable of. Even more so than dolphins and elephants (who mourn their dead, and even take hindsight revenge). To suggest the will of a newborn child outweighs the primal instincts of a 17 year old gorilla is absurd. In this situation where you have seemingly no choice, you are giving your consent to this animal to take care of your child. As I pointed out, nobody jumped down in any attempt to save their child. They literally gave their hope and faith into an animal of the highest intelligence among the other life forms aside from our self's. The animal did not kill or harm the child right? Some cultures sling babies around by their limbs and it does not harm them. You really think by dragging this child he was endangering his life? Ever heard of wrestling? The human body can take much more damage than you may think.

I'm not saying the gorilla's life is more important than the 3 year old's. It's simply the fact that most people say that the gorilla did not even attack the child. If you read and see the video it's as if the gorilla is simply helping the kid. As for the "terrible injuries" that they say the child has, it was confirmed that any injuries it sustained were not from the gorilla, and not even serious. And even if the gorilla had attacked the child, it's the children's parents that are at fault. Like seriously, how the hell do you lose your kid in a ZOO and in such a way that it's able to get in the GORILLA CAGE. Stupid people IMHO.

of course its the parents fault but that doesent mean a 3 year old should suffer for it. Also its the zoo's fault. they should have better secruity seriously. What should they have done to the gorilla? use Tranquilizer? Those take some time to work and by then if the gorilla is shot by a Tranquilizer he would have been angry and killed the 3 year old. so shooting it was the only option. The gorilla didnt help it. Thats stupid a gorilla dont have that cognitive thinking.... It was just confused . It would probably had killed it had the kid been there longer then he was. Yah the parents r stupid but human lives r more important . Imagine the gorilla could have ripped the kid in half . that would be terrible. There is no edvidence that the gorilla helped him . He just stared and picked him up and at the end of the video you see the gorilla drag him and run away. The kid should not have been there in the first place but HE was so nothing we can do about it. Saying Justicforharambe or watever the gorilla name is doesent change anything.

I agree, both parents and the zoo are at fault. As I said. Stupid people.
I don't support zoos, or aquariums such a Sea a World, and Marineland near me.
Before you comment further, I don't eat meat either.
I've watched this video more than once, and I don't see the gorilla trying to harm the kid. Yes he dragged him, but he was trying to pull the kid to safety because everyone was yelling.
There's also a point where the gorilla pats the kid and sort of pulls him closer as if its his own baby.
There's zookeepers for a reason. Send 2 in. One can distract the gorilla, the other can grab the kid.
There's other options other than shooting it as it posed no threat.

Are you fucking retarded?
The gorilla was shot dead because some idiot couldn't take care of her kid.
That is outrageous! The decision which was taken by the staffs was clearly not thought through. The parenting instinct in the gorilla kicked in because of the child being in despair, and they decided to use lethal force when they could have but used anesthesia ammunition.
I'd rather have my "life depending" decisions made by that gorilla than those stupid muscleheads who dares to call themselves for animal experts.
parents should be killed like the gorilla
Fuck her, useless mother. They should have just used a tranquilizer. If they didn't reach the kid in time so what? It's her fault.
