So this allows members to get their warnings removed one time, assuming they complete the quiz correctly.
It's a nice and useful plugin, will give people a reason to go read site rules and Help Docs so that they can get their account limitation lifted.
This is such an awesome idea, good job guys

I know :(
Even with my "Cooligan's Cool Conferment Contests" lol.
I also didn't receive an HFNT award back when they were originally given out after years of me writing Headlines. :/

Thank you for your forgiveness.
Happy you finally got what you've always truly wanted in this life.
bugga told me I'm a cutie
Seems like a great addition, would have been useful 10=- months ago when I got countless warnings lol

We rarely pardoned members that violated the rules and only way to get the warning(s) removed was to wait it out. Today, we decided it's time to give everyone a chance. Thanks to Omniscient and Xerotic, they came up with the warning forgiveness plugin. Let me explain how it works.
When you get a warning you get a PM that contains a link to the quiz. You will have a certain amount of questions and you have to answer most of them correctly. Questions are multiple choice with 4 given answers so you don't have to type anything, just choose one answer you think it's correct. If you pass the quiz, your warning is removed.
Keep in mind that the questionnaire is available once per warning type per member. Next time if you get the same warning type, you won't get a quiz but you can see the quiz's results you did last time for that warning type. I urge you to take your time with the quiz as you cannot retake it. The number of total answers as well as number of correct answers will vary between warning types. To make it easier for you, just assume you have to get everything right. Besides, you'll get to know the rules better and it can impact your HF experience in a more positive way.
Currently quiz is available if you get a marketplace violation. We are looking to expand that to some other warning types but not all warnings will have the quiz. You don't have to worry about the difficulty of questions as I've designed them that all answers can be found in the Help Docs or that other answers don't make much sense. Basically your tool of answering questions is your understanding of Help Docs.
I'm going to update this thread once we add more quizzes. The list of current warning types is:- Marketplace violation.
- Outside marketplace.
If you have any questions or find any bugs, please post below. Enjoy.
EDIT: Please don't try to test it out as when you 'test' it out, there's no coming back and we aren't going to reset the quiz for you...
Very nice update.
This would be a good time for everyone to brush up on all the help Doc’s
Also congrats on the promotion. 👍

We assume you are replying to the thread starter if you do not quote anyone else.
Fun fact: Grim means ugly in Danish.
I like doing it in marketplace to have proof in case a seller change the thread info
Bleh
Don't think I've ever had a warning. Can you give me one so I can take the quiz. Prepare for top marks lads.
Nice new feature, although I try to avoid warnings all together

You had 7 warnings mate, you might want to save this in case you get warned. :)

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.
Peace out!

I got hit with a warning after a seller changed thread info, my post was a question on the thread. The staff member ended up editting the thread as well and I went on a ban limbo and had that 50% warning hanging on my profile.
Posting etiquette will be a tricky quiz...
That shit is so subjective, hell a mod could slap me with a posting etiquette warning for this post and I would have no idea why but I’m sure there’s something here they could argue warrants it lol 😂🥺😭😥🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

There won't be a quiz for every warning type as I said in the OP. Posting etiquette might be one of those as there are so many individual cases you can get warned for.

This is actually a sick idea man, I would say I cannot wait to get a warning but, knowing my luck I'd get one wrong, EAGLE MAKING CHANGES <3
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
And if they fail the quiz and complain, their warning percent should double. People will always complain regardless.
Will there be a similar quiz for Harrassment and/or Flaming?
