I am working on becoming a professional web/graphic designer which hopefully I will see. I am great at giving people real life advice due to everything I have been through. People skills - Talking to people about their problems, helping them out, supporting them through it is my best aspect. I know it's not something major, but it's something big for me.



Which section are you most active in and why?
The Innuendo section now because I am at a point of my life where I am not having the best of luck and I am using my experiences to help people get through problems in their life; whether it be relationship related, life related, whatever. I try to relate, put myself in their position and be there for them. I have been inactive in all sections lately due to how sick I have been feeling and being back in the hospital.



Why do you want to join Phoenix?:
This group fits me perfectly. It's all about being a family and that's what I need - People who love and support you online. I've been through a lot and have been going through a lot and could use a group of people who will support you and not troll you.

My name is Mahdy. I currently suffer from two severe stomach diseases and a bone disease causing me to have been in and out the hospital the last two years. This thread sums up the way I see life and will make you truly see why I belong in this group.



Where do your priorities in life lie? What is most important to you?
My loved ones and then my health and that's that. Regardless what is going on with me, my loved ones come first. I do whatever I can to be there for them and support them with whatever help they need, even when I need them.



What caused you to stay active and be part of the community on Hackforums after first joining?
The support of every group I've been in and every person I met made me continue to keep pushing and not give up.



Anything else you would like to say:
I really would love to be in this group. It's emotional aspect fits me perfectly. I'll have another group of people I can call my family to talk to just about anything without the fear of getting laughed at or trolled. I feel like, with Phoenix, it'll be another "home" group. I tried making this as long as I could while being in the hospital. I am sorry for the length, I saw the recruitment and despite the pain I am in, I needed to do my best to apply because everyone on HF that truly knows me, including people in this group, know this group will be perfect for me. Unlike some people here, I'm not going to list the skills I have in Gaming, Marketing, etc. I know that's not what Phoenix is looking for.

I'm particularly proud of my intellectual abilities. I have been able to accomplish outstanding success in my academic career, and am still growing in knowledge every day. I have been fortunate enough to share these abilities with the hackforums community by providing a free homework service. It is currently closed due to the fact that I was getting way too many requests (over 100) but I have completed most of them. I'm also a very emotionally strong person. I've been through many hardships in my life such as: losing my mother, having to move away from my friends, losing my grandfather, and sadly, a lot more. I think with my emotional stability I can help other in relieving stress and depression. Or, I can just simply be someone to talk to, who has been through it all.

Currently I am the most active in the lounge, currency exchange, and l'appel du vide subforum sections.

Lounge - I like to participate in the various Hackforums discussions so I can interact with my fellow members, I also try to help people out where ever I can.

Currency Exchange - Looking into my business side of Hackforums, I am a trusted exchanger in the currency exchange section, and have completed over 100 exchanges and over $5,000 worth of exchanges.

L'appel Du Vide - As this is a great group, and one of the only ones I am apart of, I try to be very active in it's sub forums, participating in various intellectual debates.

Why do you want to join Phoenix?
Currently my biggest motive in joining Phoenix is the fact that I am running a Student Support help desk with 4 Phoenix members - Justin Timberlake, Bugatti, Rivalry, and Killamuvz.
We may not have much attention on our thread at the moment, but we are going to be advertising it a lot more, very soon - with signatures, and possibly even a paid sticky in education nation.

Not only that, but I am a laid back individual who is always opened to helping people, and making new friends.

Ever since the beginning of my high school career, I have tended to stand out from every other person I have met in my endeavors. I see countless people every single day wasting their lives, guided by an unfortunate misdirection in their life, which leads them to spend countless hours spending their energy on things that aren't important in life. Despite this, I have excelled in every subject that has been thrown at me: From Mathematics to Sciences, I am cognizant and knowledgeable in a multitude of studies.

Is it due to this, that I opened up my own free homework service here on Hackforums to utilize my vast knowledge to help benefit the community. I believe that with my knowledge, I can contribute to topics both inside and outside of the Phoenix sub forums.

Where do your priorities in life lie? What is most important to you?
Currently the most important things in my life is my family and school. Of course nothing is more important than your own family, but I also take a great care and put in a lot of effort in my schooling, as you'll go nowhere in life without a good education.

What caused you to stay active and be part of the community on Hackforums after first joining?
I was first introduced to these forums from my friend Buzzle. This may seem like something a bit sad, but Hackforums is a huge social outlet in my life, I have met so many great people here that make me want to continue posting, contributing, and being apart of this awesome community. Not only that, but I am constantly learning and expanding my knowledge each day on Hackforums.

The members of Phoenix are all very well spoken, and set a
good example all around HF. It'd be a great way to share
my skills with others (including all members of HackForums),

I'm an 18 year old (pretty cool dude, if I say
so myself) who's soon to be a college student in the Spring.
I moved to the US when I was very young, and only kept a
few close friends throughout my school years. I'm really
into running track, art, and media. I've been a fan of art for
as long as I could remember. Not much of me has changed
since I was a kid; I still only keep a few close friends, as I'm
typically pretty quiet.





As of now, my priorities are both my education
and my family. Both are pretty regular, but important things
to me and my life. I'm about to go to college in the Spring,
so focusing on my education is a pretty important factor to
having a better future. My education is important because it
will determine my future career (I hope to be a computer science
major). My family is important because they have supported me
all of the way through, 100%, no matter what choices I make.




Honestly, the members. At first, I think I joined to
buy some things off of the marketplace, but I explored the site
and found many interesting and cool topics that were being
discussed. I started talking with members, having discussions,
and eventually it led to HackForums being a regular part of my life.

It's not exactly superficial to do that. It makes it easier to read the content, shows originality and effort by the applicant as well.

What does it matter? Just know that a Phoenix recruitment is more or less going to pop up the same amount of times as a Red Lions recruitment. "Once In a lifetime" is a figure of speech, don't take it so literally. Phoenix is invite only 99% of the time, this is the first time they have ever done a public recruitment.
