I got a good gambling story for ya.
So back in the day 1 BTC was worth about $70 or so, and there was a MINECRAFT gambling server called Bit Vegas. It was actually pretty fucking sick even by today's standards like I'm amazed at how the casino games and withdraw and deposits actually worked out without any major hiccups (I still think the Minesweeper was rigged FUCK that game). Anyways. Young me had gambled my way up to like 5-6BTC in game and thought nothing of it, I didn't really grasp the concept and reality of "Oh shit I got like $300 in a video game" sooooo I ended up losing it all. About a week or 2 later, price skyrocketed to about $1k and I literally wanted to kms. Like imagine. You're young you're gambling online you don't really understand the actual money of what you're playing with.... and then you're like "Fuck I literally gambled away a car on minecraft". And thennnnnn December 2017 hit........ and BTC was $20k. Needless to say..... yeah no I could have been decently rich if I cashed out that 5-6BTC and just chilled for a few years. Long time ago, around 2011-1014, not really sure. I was selling here in HF, and one guy bought using bitcoin. It was 18 BTC if I remember right. I accepted even though it was not much worth to me at that time. Deposited the BTC on a famous website at that time, and now I have no freaking idea where those BTC are. I don't remember anything, website, wallet nr., nothing.
Probably anyone here who has more experience and remembers that time can help with some hints, like the websites used at that time on HF for buying/selling using BTC. Who knows maybe I might even find them... ps. feels like a treasure hunt >.< Loading signature ...
In 2015, I have got 3 btc, and I have sold them in 2016 ... That's my sad story :(
