[PRE-ALPHA] Omega Browser v0.1 [Advanced VB.NET Browser]

i think Chrome engine (WebKit) would be a little bit faster? for me, it's lot of faster than firefox

btw i have an idea to your next version.. would be nice if you add "Open in new tab" & "Open in new Window" feature?

Yeah, the problem with WebKit.NET is that it's not as advanced as Gecko due to the fact that it hasn't been as developed for use with the .NET framework.

I can & will certainly implement open in new window & tab, etc.
That looks awesome! I love it. Using it now.
Hopefully you release Omega v2.0 soon <: )
Well it'll actually be v0.2, but still in Pre-Alpha because I haven't implemented all the intended functionality, nor have I created an installer or Icon.
Man! This browser looks soooo sexy,
keep up the good work man you have a talent!
Errors I've gotten so far:
I opened it up, nothing happened so i opened a second instance and BAM!
Spoiler (Click to View)
--
Also, another error when i tried to close a tab when there was only 1 tab there. Add try commands around it please
--
Another error when i tried to "remove selected bookmark" and i had none selected. you should make it once u delete a bookmark it goes to the next bookmark automatically.
--
another "error" when i added a bookmark and the favicon didnt show up when i added it to the bookmark bar
--
when i click enter on the addressbar it doesnt navigate.
--
new edit: when i open up a new tab, i'd prefer to be able to right click anywhere on the page and press new tab
--
can't open links in new tabs, can only copy and paste it onto a new link.

Hope these are all fixed jack... theres a TON. Sorry ):

That seems to be rather strange - I've tested this on about 5 computers, and it doesn't happen with any of them... I'm pretty sure that the first error you are getting is to do with the WebBrowser component itself. Did you extract all the files from the archive, or did you just run the program from the archive with something like WinRAR or 7zip?

I edited my post with more errors. and i extracted.
Also i think you may have given us a much more previous version than you own right now, if thats the case.

Also, i can't right click a link: Open in a new tab
That kinda sucks tbh, bc i really want that feature, i use it everyday.

Yeah, I would like to emphasize the fact that the browser is in a PRE-ALPHA stage - meaning that new features will be added very frequently - it's just that I've been very busy for the past 4 days.

Thats no problem whatsoever, i'm using the project right now and i can't stress enough how amazing this is coming together. even for pre-alpha. xD
Good job. 9/10 ^^ i want to see this project done! Its amazing and has tons of potentials. Also i think the "new tab" and close tab button should be on the right of the latest tab. It makes it easier to go to, since i'm use to that on google chrome. Or right click anywhere on the web browser and open up new tab. :)

Just my 2 cents. =)!
Are you gonna release new version of this?
I know what you should add! You should do the same as google. If you have searched on youtube.com you can type you it autofills youtube.com if you press tab then you actually searching on youtube. Might wanne make that?

I've heard of that before, I thought of implementing it, but it sounded so difficult that I dismissed it at first. Thinking about it again, a few ways of detecting search pages have come to mind, but I think it'll still be a long while (and lots of blood, sweat & tears) before I implement that kind of thing.

On the good side, v1.1 is coming soon.
