[TUT] Youtube View "Hack" [VB.NET] [n00b FRIENDLY] [TUT]

This is my very first Visual Basic tutorial and infact my first tutoral ever here on HF. 😁

In this tutorial I will show you how to make a simple program that updates the page every x seconds so you can get alot of views on your video. You can get up to about 2500 per hour if you have a fast internet and a fast computer. My internet is pretty much crap and my computer is very bad too but i still manage to get about 700 views per hour.😉

First download Visual Basic 2010 Express for free here:

Microsoft.com

It's a 30 day trial but if you register you can have it for ever, and yes, registration is also free. 🙂

Now let's get started!

After you have installed and started Visual Basic click
File->New Project

Choose "Windows Forms Application", name it "Youtube Hack" or something like that, it doesn't matter what you name it, and click OK

Make sure Form 1 is selcted and in the "Properties" tab to the right in the main window change the:

"FormBorderStyle" to "Fixed3D"
"MaximizeBox" to "False"
"Size" to 1000; 700
"Text" to "Youtube Hack"

Now let's add some stuff to your form!

In the toolbox to the left double-click or drag these items to your form:
5 Buttons
1 Textbox
1 NumericUpDown
1 WebBrowser
1 Timer

Select the WebBrowser and change these properties:
"Dock" to "Bottom" (Select the bottom "button")
"Location" to 0; 55

Select the NumericUpDown and change these properties:
"Location" to 778; 29
"Maximum" to 10
"Minimum" to 1
"Size" to 50; 20

Select the TextBox and change these properties:
"Location" to 0; 0
"Size" to 909; 20

Select Button1 and change these properties:
"Location" to 915; -2
"Text" to "Go!"

Select Button2 and change these properties:
"Location" to 834; 27
"Text" to "Start!"

Select Button3 and change these properties:
"Location" to 915; 27
"Text" to "Stop!"

Select Button4 and change these properties:
"Location" to 12; 27
"Text" to "Back"

Select Button5 and change these properties:
"Location" to 93; 27
"Text" to "Forward"

Your form should now look like this:
Spoiler (Click to View)

Now that you have all the items you need, let's move on with the code!

Double-click on the "Go!" button and write this:
Code
WebBrowser1.Navigate(TextBox1.Text)
This will make your WebBrowser navigate to the page you typed into TextBox1 when the button is clicked.

Double-click on the "Back" button and write this:
Code
WebBrowser1.GoBack()
This will make your WebBrower go back when the button is clicked.

Double-click on the "Forward" button and write this:
Code
WebBrowser1.GoForward()
This will make your WebBrowser go forward when the button is clicked.

Double-click on the "Start!" button and write this:
Code
Timer1.Interval = NumericUpDown1.Value * 1000
Timer1.Start()
This will set the interval of the timer to the amount of seconds the user chooses in the NumericUpDown and start Timer1 when the button is clicked.(Since the timer is set in milliseconds we need to add " * 1000 ", otherwise the timer will tick 1000 times per second if we set the interval to 1 and that isn't going to work)

Double-click on the "Stop!" button and write this:
Code
Timer1.Stop()
This will stop Timer1 when the button is clicked.

Now double-click on Timer1 which you will find in the bottom grey part of the screen and write this:
Code
WebBrowser1.Navigate(TextBox1.Text)
This will make the WebBrowser navigate to the page in TextBox1 everytime the timer ticks.

Now to make the Textbox show the page you are on:

Go back to the "Form1.vb [Design]" tab and select the WebBrowser. Open the properties and at the top there should be a lightning symbol, click it!
Now double-click the empty space to the right of "Navigated", NOT "Navigating", and write this:
Code
TextBox1.Text = WebBrowser1.Url.ToString()

Building and using:

Now click
File->Save All

and then
Build->Build "The name of your project"

Open the "Solution Explorer" to the right and right-click on "Your project's name" and then "Open Folder in Windows Explorer"

Click "bin" and then "Release" and you should find your .exe file of your program there. If not, just search through the project folder or ask me for help. If you can't find it then you could just debug the program by clicking the green "Play" button at the top of the main window.

How to use it:
Simply set the NumericUpDown to the amount of seconds where the video has just enough time to load before the page refreshes. If it updates too fast, you won't get any views since the video never loads and plays.

That's it! Very simple coding! Hope you liked it!

Please tell me what you think of this tutorial. What should I improve? What was positive about this tutorial? Did you find this useful? Should I make more VB tutorials?

What should I make tutorials about?

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE YOUTUBE VIEW COUNT ISN'T A LIVE FEED!

A "Thank you 🤝" would be nice! 😁

...
While you obviously take a lot of time to create this tutorial, which is by the way very well made, this is not really a 'hack' (I think you know that) and will definitely freeze your views if your video has under 300 views, and will at one point stop giving you new views (YouTube fixed this years ago).
My Question was answered in the Post Above, this has a really lot of thought and time spent on it. And is really good in my Eyes, but I will have no use of this because of the YouTube Patch, but this is Good to use to get 200 + Views on your Videos. Thanks for the Share.

They fixed it? 😯 I feel so stupid. Hours of my life flushed down the toilet. 😭
This will give you SOME views, but I mean, it's YOUTUBE, they're not stupid enough to let someone refresh a page 10k times and give them 10k views. They got some algorithm which determines, with different variables, if a view is legit or not, and if it's legit it will give it to you, else, it won't give it to you, and at some point they will obviously see it's not legit.

Just let SpK come in here and explain like a badass.

Unfortunately it probably will freeze, but it only freezes for a certain amount of time doesn't it? I mean, I've seen alot of videos stuck at 302 views but some time later I see the view count go up again.

Well i wouldn't say Hours of your Life Flushed Down the Toilet, you made a Wonderful Tutorial, but its just to Bad, that YouTube Patched that Up. I say you Combine your Skills and Move on to some thing else. Looking forward to your Later Releases.

Thanks! Maybe I should make an "Introduction to VB" tutorial or something like that, explaining all the basic stuff. Do you think that would be nice or is there a tutorial like that already?
