Deadman Wonderland

Reading the manga and finished the series so far (should have a 2nd season or
movie coming out soon(no...no there isn't...I have been informed there will be no second season)).
I fucking love this anime and want to shove it down all of your throats.
PLOT:
Tokyo is ravaged by an enormous earthquake and most of it is
utterly destroyed.
10 years after this incident a boy is framed for murdering his entire class.
The true culprit was a floating man wearing strange restraints and
colored a blood red (probably from all the blood....). The boy, Igarashi
Ganta, is sent to a newly built prison called Deadman Wonderland. This
prison is privately owned and doubles as a tourist attraction where the main
attraction is the inmates of said prison participating in insane obstacle
courses and various dangerous and bloody events. While in this prison
Ganta discovers the "Red man" is under the same roof somewhere in this
massive establishment. He swears to find and kill him in order to
avenge his fallen classmates. However, this prison has some pretty big
secrets hidden within its bowels and Ganta is in for one hell of a journey.
Characters:
Igarashi Ganta (aka Woodpecker): Scared and afraid in this new and
crazy world, fights for revenge and for his new found friends. Initially
weak and full of self doubt, he taps into a new found well of power egged
on by his new found friends.
Shiro: An albino girl which Ganta meets within his first few days at the
prison. She acts and speaks like a child but has superhuman physical
abilities. She befriends Ganta and helps him on his journey through DW
(deadman wonderland). However, not everything is quite right.
Tamaki Yoh: Another one of Ganta's friends appearing on Ganta's first
day at the prison. Yoh is a kleptomaniac whose quick fingers help Ganta
out of some sticky situations, but somehow, yoh's friendship with Ganta
seems slightly "artificial".
Tamaki Tsunenaga: The assistant warden of Deadman Wonderland and a
huge antagonist, is a twisted man hell bent on having his way with DW.
His underhanded ways and true motives will have you grinding your
teeth the whole series.
Makina: Leader of the guards established in DW as the disciplinary force
of the prison. Makina has a voluptuous body but a very mean bite. She
keeps the prison in order (or tries to) but her methods can be very harsh
at times. She shares a hatred of the assistant warden with Ganta and
plans to bring him down. It is not clear immediately whether she is friend
or foe.
Senji Kiyomasa (aka Crow): Ganta meets Senji deep in the heart of DW
and comes to find they are not so different. After a few conflicts the
woodpecker befriends the Crow and another member is added to
rebellious bunch.
My opinion:
This series made me jizz my pants multiple times. The animation is spectacular, the plot is fantastic,
especially the prison. All the characters are amazing and play a very
important role in the series as well as tug on your heart strings. The
unadulterated violence and gory scenes are not overwhored nor uneeded,
they are just perfect for the progression of plot as well as filling that
need for bloody fights that all action anime fans crave. The plot twists
and character progression will have you on the edge of your seat the
entire ride. This series is thought provoking, gruesome and action
packed, every episode leaving you speechless and raving for more! I
seriously have no complaints at all about this series!!
I recommend you go and watch/read this RIGHT NOW!!!
