Sorry guys I did a whole bunch and googling and couldn't find my answer. Does anybody know if the iPhone 4 iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak is out yet? If so please redirect me. I would love to know.

What exactly slows down your iPhone from Cydia (i.e. WinterBoard. SubstrateMobile etc.)

About the Jailbreak, -Cobalt- is correct, it has not been released yet. Addressing your second question, no individual package will really slow down your iDevice substantially, it's just once you get 10-15 packages which all run constantly, that's when you'll notice your device slow down considerably.

No problem, I used to follow all the crap awhile back but stopped because my iPod is so laggy after I restore it from a 4.0 JB.

All of a sudden it hit me today to go crazy on finding an iPhone 4 JB, thank you very much.

Is there a way to kill those running processes and not slow down the iPhone, I hate it when my shit gets slow. :(

just install those packaged you really need. Dont install packages just because u can, thats the only device i can give u =)

It's definitely Mobile Substrate that slows your device down.
Mobile Substrate with any extension.
Try resprining with Mobile Substrate + any extension.
Try respringing without it.
See which one is faster. Even by a second.

Winterboard slows down your springboard most of the time in my cases.
