Which do you prefer, and why? I just installed SB: S&D and it seems nicer that SAS.

Keyscrambler is great, I have it as well. If you get infected with something that has anti keyscrambler it turns off (well, that's what some anti's do to it), so you know something is wrong. And if it stays on your pretty safe... OT: I would have to say... Super anti spyware? I have used it a few times and it seems pretty good. I also think it is recommended by some of the HJT team members. (Apr 3, 2012 12:19 AM)Chillae Wrote: Keyscrambler is great, I have it as well. I wish I had the pro version. But yeah, most of the programs I have are more precautions, rather than removal. If one isn't working, or more than one, something is wrong.

It's honestly about preference. Spybot Search and Destroy in comparison to SuperAntiSpyware is like Ketchup compared to Mustard. It's what you like better. Both of them do their jobs efficiently along side your Anti-virus. However, if you do not have Malwarebytes, I'll have to definitely state that Malwarebytes is the top dog in the trio.
One of the two you mentioned though, are definitely a good addition to a trio of Malwarebytes and your Anti-virus. You can also use Ad-aware and HitmanPro. Hell, if you're paranoid enough you can run all of them considering they're on-demand scanners. Will they work? Yes. Are they worth it? Not really. You have to realize that for 99% of people, what you get on your PC is from what you roam around the internet and pick up yourself. It's very rare that someone actually targets you and tries to infect your machine so until then, I think you could suffice with a common AV and Malwarebytes as your backup. That's just my preference though. I personally use Comodo's suite with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware as my trio. Hope I gave a good bit of input, have a good night. :)
1 Anti-virus it's better then 2 Anti-virus :p..
Try this: Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG with Malwarebytes anti-malware and COMODO Firewall. Now You are good protected. You can also download the big files like Bitdefender etc. (Apr 3, 2012 01:25 AM)Rikko Wrote: 1 Anti-virus it's better then 2 Anti-virus :p..Lol both of these Anti-virus' are a joke. |
